Gene editing should be licit because it would permit sex selection, prevent various deaths, terminate physical deformities, aid sterile couples, and prohibit perfect humans. If there were no disabled humans, every person would be able to experience life with no restrictions. If there were no weak humans, every person would be able to feel capable in themselves. If there were no struggling humans, every person would be able to enjoy the beauties of life. If every human was healthy, no person would have to suffer. With new developments in the subject of the genetics of humans, all of these perfect concepts could be attainable. Currently, the procedure of genetic engineering is being intensely debated. Society is in disagreement of whether the technique should be authorized to be used. Gene editing could allow a family name to continue to thrive by selecting the gender of the child. Gene editing could prevent the death of a beautiful baby girl that would have otherwise died young due to a hereditary disease. Gene editing could avert a genetic mutation that would have caused a boy to be color-blind for his whole life. Gene editing is the future of humans.
